LebanonRana has a diverse and impressive background in basketball coaching and education. She served as the Assistant Basketball Coach at Lakeland College Rustlers in Lloydminster, Alberta, from January to June 2022, contributing to the women’s varsity team’s success. Rana also held the position of Head Coach at Golden Ticket Sports during the same period, where she coached basketball and led the program at Hoop Factory.
Her coaching journey includes an extensive tenure as the Head Coach for the women’s varsity team at the American University of Beirut (AUB) from September 2014 to September 2021, showcasing her leadership and mentoring skills. Rana also contributed to the development of basketball talent at Al Riyadi Club from September 2013 to December 2021. Her coaching experience dates back to her role at the Harlem Basketball Academy in Beirut, Lebanon, from January 2008 to March 2011.
In her pursuit of knowledge, Rana studied Sport Science at ITK Internationaler Trainerkurs Leipzig in 2020 and pursued an International Diploma in Basketball at UNIVERSITÄT LEIPZIG in 2018. She also studied Physical Education at the Lebanese University in 2014. Rana’s dedication to the sport and her educational achievements demonstrate her commitment to basketball and her desire to contribute to its growth and development.
